Clinics and Services

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic our capacity for patients to attend the treatment room has reduced.  This is due to the need to ensure strict social distancing and the need to use PPE for every patient.  Each appointment takes longer as it takes time for our nursing team to safely put on and take off PPE between patients.  We are still providing essential services such as drug monitoring, dressings, injections and urgent bloods.  We are now starting to increase the number of chronic disease clinics (COPD, Asthma and Diabetes).  However, in the short term this may involve a telephone or video review in order to abide by strict social distancing.  Childhood vaccination and antenatal clinics are running as usual.
